It would appear that winter has hit well and truely now! With the colder and wetter weather, we would like to encourage children to bring their slippers to school, to wear in our team. In addition to this if children are wanting to play on the field at lunchtime, we need them to bring a change of clothes (tops AND bottoms).
This week we hope to see you at our Matariki Celebration in the MPF at 7:30am. It will be a lovely community time, where each team will share with you a little of our learning around this celebration.

We have been busy in Matawara completing reflections and assessment for Writing and Leadership. Hopefully you find the time to have a good look at these as they come through your HERO feed. Maths and Inquiry will be put up for you to look at over the next couple of weeks also.

LEARNING CONFERENCES -
The link to learning conferences went out on Wednesday, for you to book a time slot for a meeting. We look forward to catching up with you all regarding your child's learning and goals for the second half of the year.
I thought I would just include this summary of Learning Conferences for you to familiarise yourself with leading up to this time. It is very useful to revisit questions you might ask your child, to engage them in a conversation about their learning - as you know teenagers LOVE to clam up!
